  1. What is Samsung Care + and why should the customer purchase it?​

    Samsung Care + brings together a range of benefits that are meant to safeguard your device against any accidental, physical or liquid damage.​

  2. From where can a customer purchase SC+ Plans?​

    The plan can be purchased from Jarir stores.​

  3. How does the customer activate the Samsung Care+ pack after purchase?​

    Samsung Care+ packs are auto activated as soon as the pack is purchased. Customer will receive a welcome e-mail (sample email on the next slide) with policy certificate and terms and conditions which is a proof of plan activation.

  4. Can customer buy multiple Samsung Care+ packs for one device?​

    No, for one IMEI number, only one Samsung Care+ pack can be bought throughout the life of the device.​

  5. Is Samsung Care+ available for Samsung phones purchased outside KSA?​

    No. Samsung Care+ is only available for phones purchased in KSA.​

  6. Can the customer buy Samsung Care + Pack anytime after purchasing the smartphone device?​

    Any Samsung care + pack can be bought up to 30 days from the date of device purchase ​

  7. Customer wants to cancel Samsung Care+; will the customer get a refund on the days remaining?​

    Samsung Care+ plan can be cancelled only within 7 days of purchase of the plan if there is no claim request or settlement within that time. A full refund is initiated if the plan can be cancelled.​

  8. How can the customer renew SC+ Plan?​

    Samsung Care+ Plan cannot be renewed.​

  9. When does the customer need to pay the deductible?​

    The customer has to pay the deductible at the Authorized Service Centre before the repair is initiated.​

  10. What documents should the customer provide to avail repair service?​

    The policy confirmation mail is the only proof that the customer requires to avail the repair service.​

  11. What does it mean when a device is Beyond Economical Repair (BER)?​

    BER means the state of the device where it is estimated that the repair cost will exceed the device’s current MRP.​

  12. What happens in a BER case?​

    In a BER case, the device will be replaced with a new or a refurbished device and will either be the same model or the nearest equivalent model commercially available at that time (same colour cannot be guaranteed).​

  13. Will the Samsung Care + purchased for the original device be applicable to the replaced device?​

    Yes. It will be applicable to the replaced device for the remaining period of the plan.​

  14. Can Samsung Care + be purchased for second hand devices?​

    No. It is only valid for new Samsung devices.​

  15. Will the device be covered in case of Theft or loss of the device?​

    No. Theft or loss of the device is not covered.​
