Terms & Conditions
1. The Jarir Bookstore device replacement service allows you to exchange your old device for a discount on a new iPhone device of your choice.
2. The service allows replacing up to three old devices to obtain a new iPhone device, provided that the new device's value is equal to or greater than the replacement voucher's value.
3. Replacement voucher value cannot be exchanged for Jarir Bookstore gift vouchers.
4. Completing the replacement process requires the customer's personal presence to verify personal data (name, mobile number, national ID/residency number).
5. The customer must present the verification message to the staff when completing the replacement process.
6. The self-assessment valuation through the Jarir website is not final; the final valuation will be issued after the customer visits the showroom and the device is tested by a Jarir Bookstore employee.
7. The device will be tested by a Jarir Bookstore employee and classified based on the device's age, condition, attached accessories, and the manufacturer's examination results.
8. Jarir Bookstore reserves the right to refuse replacement in the following cases:
A. The device has a personal account.
B. The device has a password or digital lock, or network-related lock.
C. Find My Device feature not disabled.
D. Unclear serial number or IMEI.
E. Damaged, non-original, or modified device components.
F. The customer refuses to provide required personal information to Jarir Bookstore.
9. The customer is responsible for disclosing all modifications or repairs made to the device.
10. If discrepancies, modifications, or repairs are discovered on the replaced device that were not disclosed during the replacement process, Jarir Bookstore reserves the right to demand the return of the device to the customer and payment for the replaced device's value, plus processing fees estimated at 10% of the device's value.
11. It is recommended to create a backup of files and delete them from the device; Jarir Bookstore disclaims responsibility for any consequences resulting from failure to delete data.
12. The customer can cancel before completing the replacement process with the accountant; once completed, the replaced device cannot be returned, and Jarir Bookstore's replacement and return policy on the purchase invoice will apply.
13. Once the replacement request is completed, the replaced device (old device) cannot be returned.
14. The replacement voucher must be used at the same branch where it was issued and during its validity period; the customer cannot claim it after expiration. If the replacement process is not completed, the customer can retrieve their old device.
15. Ownership of the device transfers to Jarir Bookstore upon completion of the replacement process, and it cannot be returned to the customer. This includes received accessories such as (screen protectors, data stored on the device).
16. The value of the replaced device or any part of it cannot be refunded in cash.
17. In case of a manufacturing defect in the new device, Jarir Bookstore's replacement and return policy on the purchase invoice will apply.
18. The device replacement service for old devices is valid at Jarir Bookstore showrooms in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, excluding King Abdulaziz Airport and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport showrooms.
19. Jarir Bookstore offers additional support on some products up to 15% of the replaced device's value, subject to the following conditions:
A. The device to be replaced must have been purchased from Jarir Bookstore, and a purchase invoice may be required.
B. The serial number or IMEI of the device must match the Jarir Bookstore invoice.
C. The old device must have been purchased within a period not exceeding 3 years from the replacement date.
D. This additional support cannot be combined with any other replacement offers.
E. If additional support is added, replacing more than one device in the same process is not allowed.
20. Jarir Bookstore offers a replacement service for a new iPhone device purchased within the first 7 days from the date of the purchase invoice. This service is subject to the following conditions:
1. This offer cannot be combined with any other offers.
2. The amount will be refunded using the same payment method used in the invoice.
3. The replacement amount must be less than the purchase invoice value.
4. The mobile number must be registered in the new product invoice while purchasing from Jarir Bookstore, and the same number must be used when wishing to benefit from the service.
5. The service is not applicable for installment customers.
