What is the extended warranty?
All electronic devices in Saudi Arabia come with a manufacturer warranty of two years from the purchase date that covers only factory faults (hardware and software defects). Because your peace of mind matters to us, now Jarir gives you the ability to extend the manufacturer warranty for an additional one year on your electronic device. Extended Warranty can be subscribed with a fixed fee and there are no additional charges for maintenance.
What is the difference between Extended Warranty and Total Protection Service?
Extended warranty is adding one more year to the existing two years manufacturer warranty. Manufacturer warranty covers only factory faults (hardware and software defects). TPS is a repair or replacement service, protecting your device against any accidental damage not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, like broken screen and liquid damage, where we will repair or replace your device at a fixed service fee.
How do I subscribe to the service?
You can subscribe to this service together with your purchase, whether from Jarir showroom or online on jarir.com, of any electronic device from selected categories. It is mandatory to have the device and the Service subscription in the same invoice, whether you are buying from Jarir showrooms or Jarir.com
What are the Repair or Replacement Service Fees for Extended Warranty?
There is no service fee for Extended Warranty. Extended Warranty has only subscription fee.
What do I do when my device is broken?
Visit after sales service section of your nearest Jarir showroom to submit the device, in case you bought it online and there is no Jarir bookstore showroom in your city you can contact the call center 920000089 and a courier will contact you to collect your device.
