UCOC English for Carers

English for Carers (UCOC version)is a book which can be used in conjunction with online materials by carers, personal care assistants, nursing assistants and nurses who care for the elderly. A variety of common situations are presented, including end-of-life care. Dialogues are introduced using short YouTube cartoon videos with related practice activities. The book has a communication focus aimed at Pre-Intermediate Level (A2) Virginia Allum is a medical English author who has published several EFL/ESP books for nurses, nursing assistants and doctors. She is a practising Registered Nurse in the UK and has taught in a Diploma of Nurses and Aged Care Certificate in Australia. She is a co-author of both Cambridge English for Nursing books as well as several online courses for nurses and healthcare assistants.
