After many years of """"no progress"""" therapy it was only when I started to try and put my feelings and fears into poems that I made headway. The trauma that causes PTSD and its manifestation and symptoms are as individual as the victim. I understand that some people like to bravely chant """"I refuse to be a victim"""".
