This book is a theoretical study that presents a little of the history of atomism, from the first idea of the atom in ancient Greece to Bohrs model, which is not the current model but has played an important role in understanding the microscopic world. Based on Bohrs model, we present semiconductor materials and their particularities, which, thanks to knowledge of energy levels, can be worked on to better serve certain purposes. Semiconductor materials are the basis of technological advances in society. Knowledge of the electronics of these materials, which has come about through the evolution of physics, has led to improvements in peoples daily lives.
