When the great city of Asayouga is destroyed in an unexpected attack, Nova Nightfall and his friends are left without a home, missing their loved ones. Among the dead is Novas beloved partner, Nayeli Skylight. Her death sparks Nova to re-examine his beliefs about the afterlife, and embark on a quest to reunite with her star.
Along with his closest friends, Fenwick Greensong and Palan Keentrack, Nova devises a plan to bring them all closer to their fallen friends: he will build a spaceship, powered by the sensory magic of touch, sight, sound, scent, and voice.
