The Silent Monolith

At 25, Ryland longs for a future with Charlie, her steady romance of six years. So, she agrees to a pre-honeymoon with her beau through the Arizona desert. Both are determined to confront their pasts. Except, as a child of divorce, Ryland feels entrapped by the fear of repeating her mothers mistakes. Their journey soon takes a grisly turn when a mysterious girl at a remote diner leads them to a hive-mind couples retreat run by the sanctimonious Maxwell and Sherrie.

As they become more involved with the people there, Ryland gradually succumbs to the web of fallacies woven into Veiled Heartstone Valley. While she wrestles with the promises of emotional healing, Ryland doesnt notice Charlies increasing wariness of what it is doing to her psyche and their relationship. Together, they must navigate the precarious path between the covenant of forevermore and the threat of the unknown, battling to preserve their love and sanity against the dark forces that plague them.
