The Scientific Basis of Morality

In "The Scientific Basis of Morality", George Gore explores how scientific principles can underpin and inform our understanding of moral values and ethical behavior. He argues that morality is rooted in natural laws and human biology, challenging traditional notions of morality as purely spiritual or divine. Through a blend of scientific evidence and philosophical reasoning, Gore suggests that human conduct can be objectively studied and improved by applying scientific methods, ultimately aiming to create a more rational and equitable moral framework. The Scientific Basis of Morality is an unchanged, high-quality reprint of the original edition of 1899.
