When the Russian Revolution broke out in 1917 and the Bolsheviks assassinated Tsar Nicholas IIs family, large sectors opposed the new communist government. By means of the legendary Trans-Siberian Railway the rebels carried the imperial treasure to the heart of Asia and intended to resist from there.
