The Historic Pearce Cemetery

The Historic Pearce Cemetery tells the story of a remote grasslands valley that became the site of a huge gold rush. The cemetery records reveal who the earliest settlers were and what their lives were like from 1900 to 1940s. You will see how a burial ground evolves and how the early graves were constructed. We include a brief genealogy and history of the major families and photos of their lots. A list of major events at the cemetery is included.
