The First Scar

A collection of formal poetry that questions both natural and spiritual aspects of the world. The properties of human belief and those of physical fact often clash, and this confusion may send one into deep confusion, anxiety, and hopelessness. The realm of fantasy is often touched upon, and stories are told in such atmospheres as can harbor the philosophies that reality cannot contain. Written over a 4-year period of particular tumult for the author, these works record his attempt at understanding the human condition and the chaotic, rapidly-changing world around him.
