Twelve-year-old Ali invited his friend Dylan, an Australian, to visit his ancestral home in the Northern Emirates of the United Arab Emirates. Bored, hot, and hungry, the boys head to the beach, where they find Alis grandfather fishing. He tells them stories of exploring the surrounding islands when he was a boy.
