Account of the Imperial Trans-Antartic Expedition attempted by Sir Ernest Shackleton and his crew. The goal of making the first land crossing of the Antartic Continent was never reached. Instead, the Endurance, Shackletons ship, got trapped in pack ice, and Shackletons new aim was to rescue all his crew members, in which he finally succeeded. Originally released in 1919.
