Some thoughts from behind the wheel

I would like to express my thanks to those whos advice and encouragement made this book possible. Unfortunately, Im not very good with words. Fortunately, these people know me and my verbal limitations. Some even like me, I think. A special note of gratitude is owed to my wife, Bev, who has passed many exciting evenings, Im sure, looking at the back of my head while I worked on this book, and a novel thats in the final stages. Not to mention the time shes spent alone while I was on the road gaining the experiences that instigated these poems. And she thought I was working. Seriously, I hope you enjoy the poems and short stories in this book, and thank you for your interest in my scribbles.
