Selections for Colder Winters

""The existential unease of being truly known is met with the youthful fear of having a diary read aloud. Selections for Colder Winters is comprised mainly out of poems which were never intended to be read by anyone but the author. Roemer began writing one poem every day in the early portion of a year. These poems were not initially intended to be published. What she could not have known at the time, however, was that she would incidentally document one of the most formative and eventful portions of her life. In this unique chronicle, select poems have been elected to offer a glimpse into the tumult and beauty that follows into a life. Deeply personal, fully-felt, and very often beautiful, Selections for Colder Winters is a compact collection of fresh poetry which will be enjoyed by the thoughtful reader, and the lover of honest poetry.""
