Rohheit

ROHHEIT- Meaning Rawness in German- is a strange ride on a disheveled machine through masochism, self-aggression, forlorn loneliness and deeply dark humor. Images of emaciated characters living in a dystopian universe tag alongside verse- poetry and illustration together painting a portrait of a wholly human experience in a shattered world. The product of endless nights in hotel rooms and nowhere towns, Rohheit leaves open past aches and current dysfunctions- shining light on the ugliness of mind in order to expose the beauty of raw expression. Written in English but utilizing both Russian and German, prizes await those willing to search.
