Reception Theories

The writer watches everything she does. All her decisions are either filtered through the writers intentions or made by Joanna according to them. She thrusts her into situations and observes her reactions. She needs Joanna to write her book. She has run out of ideas and needs someone elses. She needs things to happen so that she can put them down on paper. Her thoughts are not original. Joanna Kwiatkowska works as a receptionist in a high-profile law firm in London, spending her days as a gate-keeper to the too-busy-to-acknowledge-her dull suits, and philosophising about everyone and everything. Life is not ideal, especially since she has a brain designed for far bigger things. Then the writer steps in.
