Davis H. Hartman, Ph.D., is a physicist, researcher, and innovator with a passion for uncovering the universes mysteries. Born in Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey, he discovered his love for physics early, securing a research position at the Penn-Princeton particle accelerator at just 18.

Dr. Hartman earned his undergraduate degree from Upsala College and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Arizona, specializing in cosmic ray physics. His career spans groundbreaking research in optoelectronics, fiber optics, and integrated circuits, with key roles at Bell Labs, Motorola, Bellcore, and General Dynamics. He holds 54 patents and has pioneered advancements that revolutionized computing and communications.

Beyond science, he believes, "Physics is what I do, but not who I am." A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he values the connections that extend beyond the lab.
