Problem Child

Eleven-year-old Sheri has been looking forward to summer all year. She will finally get to play unlimited video games and binge read at the local library. Except... her dad has a different idea.

At a "family meeting" on the psych unit for her new stepmom, Sheris dad decides to leave her on the adolescent ward. Shes terrified and at first, thinks she has been kidnapped.

Spending too many days in isolation and being forced to take mind-altering medications is not how Sheri planned to spend her summer vacation. Now all she wants to do is figure out how to get back home.
