NIREEH (HELPLESS)

"NIREEH" a story collection by Dr. Dinesh Pathak Shashi includes twenty-two stories., they are successful ones. It presents a wide face of the problem. Many other stories like - Double Standards, Slide, The flower of Palash, False Vanity are related to dowry and other family problems of women. These stories suggest that inspite of so many changes, dowry is still a formidable social problem, just because of which father in my story Double Standards wants his daughter to be admitted in co-education college, so that she might choose some sweetheart there. Slide and False Vanity are stories of determination of women and her desire of moving ahead.
