Never in the Light

Cait OHaras mother was killed in an auto accident when Cait was just eleven. For the past nineteen years, shes accepted the story she was told about that terrible day. But something happens that forces her to call into question everything she thought she knew about her mother. And her father.

Cait works as an investigator for the San Junيpero Serra District Attorneys office-essentially, shes a cop for the DA. Early one morning after serving a subpoena, she returns to her car only to discover that someone has left her a message:

"Your mothers death was no accident".

Caits world upends. She wont stop until she knows if the note tells the truth. But what makes her a good detective-her tenacity and stubbornness-might destroy her relationships with her family and friends.

Especially when she discovers someone close to her has been lying to her for two decades.

What starts as a seemingly straightforward investigation soon twists into something darker, and pulls into its vortex everyone she knows. Cait must discover the truth.

But will it cost her everything?
