Long-COVID syndrome

There is growing concern about the long-term implications of COVID-19 infection. Fundamental questions concerning the relationship between the persistence of SARS-CoV-2 and the longevity of long-COVID symptoms remain unresolved. As a result, research into the risk factors associated with the development of Long COVID is emphasized as a necessity. The Long COVID syndrome remains enigmatic, and a better understanding of pathogenesis, risk factors, symptoms and management is needed.
