Just A Rose: Trapped by a Thorn

This is my personal story that I wanted to share, it starts with a sad note, but at the end, my story does blossom. That bulb finally breaks through the ground and reaches for the sunshine. I hope my story will inspire you to hang on and listen to your heart, dont ignore your gut feelings. It is all about my survival stories, not knowing that I was in a toxic relationship at that time but believing that I could change things. The worst battle I ever fought was between what I knew and what I felt...but the truth is. I stayed by your side long after I knew I wasnt supposed to be there, but I feared the pain Id feel if I let you go.

Until I realized how much pain I was in just trying to hold on. Starting over is scary. But you know what is scarier? Waking up years from now and still begging for the bare minimum while your whole life just passed you by. It turns out that I am a strong woman. Everything that hit me in life Ive dealt with on my own. Ive cried myself to sleep and picked myself back up and wiped my tears. I have grown from things that were meant to break me. I get stronger by the day, and I have God to thank for that. Never be afraid to start over again, new beginnings sometimes bring the best changes to your life. If you dont leave your past, it will destroy your future. Live for what today has to offer, not for what yesterday has taken away from you. Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right and forget the ones that dont. believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance- take it. If it changes your life, let it. It wont always be easy, but worth it. Thank You God for this journey of learning.
