John Stuart Mill: Autobiography

John Stuart Mill (1806-1873) is one of the most influential contributors to economic theory. In contrast to Thomas Morus utopia, he was noted for coining the term of dystopia. At the early age of 14 he began his studies in chemistry, zoology, mathematics, logic and metaphysics which eventually led to his interest in socio-political and ethical issues. His autobiography offers a deeper understanding of Mills ideas and work and gives a diverse insight into the life of a highly gifted prodigy of the 19th century.
