Integration of Heterogeneous Wireless Networks to Compose 5G Networks

This book covers the main forms of wireless network connectivity and how their integration is influencing peoples daily lives. Firstly, it looks at LTE technology, which is being used as the standard for 4G networks. It also looks at Mesh networks and how they can extend connectivity to different locations and also explains Vehicular Networks, in which vehicles are used as access points for users. As well as conceptualising the theory, the book also exemplifies the technologies using simulation experiments in Network Simulator to facilitate understanding.
