My partner and I decided to give up work and travel about a bit on a canal boat. Personally, I think it was an unusual mid-life crisis, but he has assured me it was just a break from the world. Challenging, as the boat was only 57 foot long and 6 foot wide. . . And despite being together for 9 years, we have never lived with each other.
