About this Product

Pre-University Paper from the year 2012 in the subject Medicine - Otolaryngology, course: Extended Project Qualification, language: English, abstract: Imagine how confusing it would be if you are conversing with someone about the economic climate and the person you are liaising with comes out with "the caterpillar was wearing a hat made of yoghurt". Imagine how confusing it would be to pursue a normal day at work and your employer comes up to you and asks you to "sort through the blue trainers and stack them neatly on the lamb shanks". Imagine how confusing it would be if one minute you can understand messages you receive orally and the next minute, words and sentences are completely incomprehensible. It would make you stressed wouldnt it? You would feel stupid and embarrassed when you repeat the sentence for confirmation and the person just laughs at you. You would feel humiliated and insecure. You are lucky enough to be able to only imagine this situation, however, teenagers with APD unfortunately cannot. This is a reality for them every single day.
