General studies

In this book we will be presenting some aspects of the evolution of General Studies, with special attention to Puerto Rico and particularly to the School of General Studies at the Rيo Piedras Campus of the University of Puerto Rico. In this process we will emphasize what happened during the last decades of the 20th century and the first decades of the 21st century. Since this is an open and highly complex process, we invite other colleagues to take it more as an invitation to continue making contributions on the subject, rather than as something finalized.
