Fruit Fly Management in Mango

Results of the investigations carried out at G.K.V.K. campus, Bangalore and Srinivaspur, Kolar from February 2008 to May 2009 on monitoring incidence and seasonal activity of fruit fly in different mango orchard, species complex of fruit fly and their relative abundance, evaluation on the quantity of charging with methyl eugenol, efficacy of various coloured traps and evaluation of protein food baits and relationship between trap catches and weather parameters are summarized.
