Free Spirits

Ana is a civil engineer. Her world is one of numbers and calculations, and everything can be explained through mathematics and science. But when her dying mother tells her that she isnt quite who she thought she was, Ana goes on a journey to meet the biological grandfather she never knew, and free her grandmother from a lifetime of shame and torture.

In the shallow waters of the west coast of New Zealand, a gift from the sea in the form of pilots wings leads Ana on a path that takes her to the war in the Pacific and Sydney in 1943, and uncovers her grandmothers tragic story. Her quest for answers takes her to America where she finds a family she didnt know existed, and love and heartbreak of her own.

From the deep waters of the South Pacific to the skies and mountains of Maine, USA, Ana ventures into a world she has never believed in, a world where spirits and physics collide, and she discovers that there really is no such thing as coincidence.
