What is the Hemo 10 virus? It is a violent and aggressive virus. It is a hemorrhagic fever: blood loss in layman terms. It works far more quickly than most viruses, including virulent types such as the Ebola Virus, Borna Virus and Marburg disease virus - three virus with which it shares some traits. The modern world has been brought to its knees. Within a few months the disease has gone from initial outbreak to global collapse. Borders are closed, populations destroyed and anarchy rules. The infected become raving, homicidal killing machines. It has brought a plague to end humanity. Having escaped the northern English city of York, Richard, Naomi and Ed flee to a small rural hamlet in the Yorkshire Wolds. Hoping to wait out the rages of the disease, they experience the first year of the new world. After the initial nightmarish viral horror they see the repercussions are far more frightening. The greatest monster to emerge from the virus may be the survivors themselves.
