Focus on People and Migration

<em>Focus on People and Migration</em> paints a comprehensive picture of the UKs population, both now and in the future. The report examines where people live in the UK and provides an in-depth look at the UKs largest urban areas. It then focuses on the age structure of the UK population, fertility and mortality patterns and the movement of people into, out of and within the UK and examines how these factors will shape the future UK population. Particular population groups such as those born overseas are examined in more depth and finally the UKs demographic characteristics are compared with those of other countries to give an international perspective.
