Creatures called mimics have evolved beside humanity for hundreds of years. Until now, there have only been 6 known mimic subspecies to walk the earth they call home, but the unfurling of books connected to each species will broadcast to the entire world that their battles for equality are conjoined as one. New alliances, familiar faces, and a coming revolution threatens to disrupt their very culture.

During the wetland season, Seiche becomes a permanent seer to the FinsAbove. Though, when she had thought her excessive visions would lapse, she is startled by the newest pooling intrusion of coral, skulls, and lasting golden ichor from a place she had not been in cycles. Her curiousity will get the better of her, and she will travel to that place with only one thing on her mind - the Forever Coral.
