The importance of ensuring patient safety and the quality of patient care is becoming more important nationally and internationally, after a period when it was perhaps somewhat neglected in some academic centres. Though this study guide is not a substitute for a comprehensive text on the subject, it will be a useful aid for revision.There is no current single best answer book available to final year medical students to help them prepare for their final exams. A good and strong understanding of clinical pharmacology and therapeutics is an essential foundation in the development of a medical career, and this book highlights the core concepts through a systematic approach, building confidence in the ability to answer pertinent questions and also reinforcing learning.
