Anns idea was simple. The information contained within the servers documented peoples lives. Places theyve been, things theyve said and done. All stored as discrete data points in computer memory. Anns work joined the dots between these data points allowing software to piece together a complete account of these peoples lives. Recreating a persons life from beginning to end. She had succeeded many weeks ago in implementing her software on the data set in the servers. But somehow it didnt really feel like progress. She could scroll through someones entire life history in a matter of minutes, every single moment of it. But a history is all that it was. A life trapped forever in the past. She knew she could go further.
