Ecofeminism and Sustainable Development

This book deals with the articulation between sustainable development, ecofeminism and focusing on indigenous women. As the scientific field of sustainable development is interdisciplinary, it favors the elaboration of a systemic vision of interaction between different disciplinary contexts to configure a field of visibility of the performance of indigenous women and gender relations.The political and normative levels are the basic instruments for implementing sustainability, but they lose their effectiveness in the absence of research and innovation. The partnership between sustainable development and womens studies / ecofeminism are innovations in social movements and academia.
