This book provides an overview of theories of juvenile delinquency. Each chapter describes a particular theory by telling the tale of a delinquent youth and thoroughly reviewing the theories and research designed to explain the youths delinquent behavior. By linking the theories to a real-world example, they may be "brought to life" and made more relevant to the reader.
