Dard ki Lakir

The book Ive written chronicles my parents extraordinary journey, which began in India and took them to East Pakistan, where they faced tension, war, and civil war, ultimately leading to the birth of Bangladesh. They then became prisoners of war in India, and their life in captivity is part of the story. Finally, they returned to West Pakistan.

This personal and historical narrative spans multiple countries and significant events, offering a unique perspective on the regions turbulent past. From the turmoil of war to the resilience of the human spirit and hope.

My parents story is one of courage, survival, and the unbreakable bonds of family. Im grateful to my parents, who helped me write this story.

At the time of freedom, my father was 33 years old, and my mother was 27.
