Contextualising Studies in Higher Education

This book reports on recent research into university students experiences of studying and learning in engineering. In particular the book considers the impact that first-year experiences of studying may have on the ways in which students set about studying and learning. The book also discusses what students varying ways of viewing studies in engineering can imply in terms of opportunities for learning in that particular subject area.
