Circles

In his essay Circles (1841), Emerson writes about how fluid the universe is and the circular patterns that can be seen in it. He maintains that there are no perceptions that are so important they might not seem meaningless in the light of new ideas. Thats why, he argues, people gain most when they learn to live with change.
