Broken Britain 2022

In post-Brexit Britain in 2022, the country is on its knees due mainly to the collapse of the National Health Service and the welfare system, plunging the country into an era of hardship and poverty. Scotland has finally gained independence from the rest of the UK and tough restrictions are now in place for those who want to cross the border into or out of the country. Two sweethearts, Harry and Kate, are trapped on opposite sides, but Harry is determined to make it over the border into Scotland to find his lost love. When he eventually finds her, she is close to death, when she recovers Kate reveals her plan to go to the island of St. Kilda - a very dangerous place - to try to find Jamie, her brother.
