Brain Dead is the third book in a series of poetry and prose by AMS Golden (Conversations from the Left, Right, and Heart, 2021; Divorce of the Left & Right, 2022). It chronicles the struggle of following ones heart through the heads noise, and what happens to the heart as a result. Brain Dead picks up right where Divorce of the Left & Right ended and addresses the very raw and real emotions and feelings experienced over the last three years of AMS Goldens life.

AMS Golden has never claimed to be a poet. Her only hope was that maybe something she wrote (something she felt) would reach someone else who felt it too, and suddenly... There was someone who understood. Every word she wrote was to help readers feel less lonely or crazy, to help others through their feelings, and to let people know-she feels it too. No one is alone.
