Blokes on a Plane

Two octogenarians are supposed to be planning a trip to research family history. How come they become sleuths when the uppity former mayor disappears?

They dont even like James Northan, who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and now reckons hes a descendant of William Shakespeare.
"Were only doing what wed hope hed do for us," Oodles says when they first suspect hes sick or injured and lying helpless in his luxury home.
"You dont really think hed give a toss about us?" Wish-Wash says.
Things go from bad to worse in this black comedy in the funny Windy Mountain series.
Important local landmarks start vanishing.
Demolition men try to dismantle the old mens beloved Tasmanian Tiger Museum.
Oodles and Wish-Wash read in the local newspaper that they both died in a fiery car crash. Its obviously fake news but is nevertheless still very concerning at their advanced ages.
Has the former mayor drowned himself in the stinky sewerage ponds or has he been kidnapped by the unsavoury newcomer to town everyone calls Messerschmitt?
Enter the cow camouflage trousers, walkie-talkies and a young American who joins them on their mission to rescue Jimbo.
Blokes on a Plane is the follow-up novel to Lie of the Tiger but you dont need to have read it to laugh along at this one.
Whitey and the Six Dwarfs, Blokes in Donegal, Blokes in the House, Who Knew Tasmanian Tigers Eat Apples! and Who Knew Tiger Sharks also eat Apples? await with many of the same quirky characters.
