Avionics Systems Safety & Certification Guidelines

The objective of this book is to provide understanding of how this safety analysis is evaluated in the aviation industry, and how critical safety engineering is. The guidance of how safety needs to perform for airborne systems is provided by the Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761 "Guidelines and Methods for conducting the safety assessment process on Civil Airborne Systems and Equipment" which each supplier has their own unique flavor of interpretation. This book discusses the basics of Systems Safety, compliance with System Safety Standards of Aerospace Recommended Practice (ARP) 4761 and ARP4754A.
