Auto Tuning of PID And Fuzzy Controllers Using Genetic Algorithm

In this book, The powerful capabilities of tuning PID and FLC controllers based on Genetic Algorithm (GA) in locating the optimal solutions to a given optimization problem are exploited by determining the controller parameters of the PID and FLC controllers in order to meet specified performance objectives. The performance of the fire tube boiler that fitted with GPID and GFLC has reliable dynamic performance as compared with the system fitted with PID and FLC controllers. The study of robustness of different types of controllers, PID, FLC, GPID, and GFLC are judged by examining how the controller affects the boiler dynamics when the water content capacity is changed.
