Delta Strength

This magnificent historical novel starts out in the United States (early 1900s) and drills down through the 'Great Mississippi Flood', the 'Great Depression sharecropping', then transitions into a better way of life using the military, hard-work and the fulfilment of dreams. In Delta Strength, resisting a tradition to stay dependent on others and gaining independence, several generations of Beasley family members portray strength, love, passion and connectivity so needed in life. Their passions are educational, economical, spiritual, psychological, sociable, suspenseful and loveable. Intense dialogue and unyielding events demonstrate thrill and mystery. Resisting 'stereotypology', strong characters in this saga return to their native land and reclaim family values. They experience deaths in untimely occurrences, yet hold onto their morals and ethics. An estate that Betsy (the keeper of her family's memoirs) inherits is the final resting place. This spirited family of the south inspires perseverance and determination in readers all around the world.
