Angela Summers works with the dead and socializes with the living in attempt to find the ideal life she heard about growing up. She follows the rules her parents enstilled in her mind very well.

When the reclusive Nicholas Payne manages to steal her attention as work becomes complicated by a serial killer, Angela begins thinking in new ways. Her struggle soon becomes keeping her work a concentration rather than him. Yet, she is sure she can manage it.
