Space Management in Pediatric Dentistry

Guidance of eruption and development of the primary and permanent dentitions is an integral part of the pediatric dentistry. American Association of Orthodontics defined it as that phase of science and art of orthodontics employed to recognize and eliminate the potential irregularities and malpositions in the developing dentofacial complex. It is undertaken at a time when malocclusion is developing and space management forms an integral part of it.
