The sudden death of the head of the wealthy noble family of Valoria makes the young and frightened Saxon the new heir to the royal title, by the will of the late Dorian. As a servant, therefore, this will lead him directly to become king of Valoria. Against this succession are nine of the largest and strongest families of Valoria, known for the great and terrible things they have accomplished: Novas (who wear white sashes), Glades (who wear cyan chains), Oligarchs (who wear green badges), Levanys (who wear orange gloves), Gilgoths (who wear grey shoulder plates), Mavenotorothos (who wear yellow ties and necklaces respectively), Tils (who wear black suits and dresses respectively), Puris (who wear purple brooches) and the Arcines (who wear scarlet torques and bracelets). Because of these noble houses, Saxon will face a series of intrigues, passions, and guerrillas that will challenge Valorias existence. But what will never be lacking in Saxons soul is honor and patriotism. A young servant, who had traveled the roads to get to that noble house, just to be a butler, finds himself ruling an entire kingdom.

James Ekunode is a young man born on January 22nd, 2001 to immigrant parents who hail from Nigeria. He spent most of his life in Brooklyn, NY until he moved to Matawan, NJ after graduating from Benjamin Banneker Academy. He has always been intrigued by storytelling along with music, video production, technology and other creative passions. He has never been one to stay in one place in anything and writing books is no exception.
